Trauma-Informed Care
Individualized therapeutic support using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Seeking Safety.
Crisis intervention and 24/7 on-site support for de-escalation and behavioral challenges.
Mental Health Services
Behavioral health assessments and mental health evaluations.
Family therapy and group therapy sessions for emotional processing and skill-building.
Substance use recovery and support services.
Independent Living Skills (ILS)
Life skills training in areas like financial management, meal preparation, job readiness, and housing responsibilities.
Vocational training and career support to help youth and NMDs build employment readiness.
Educational Support
Homework assistance, tutoring, and academic advocacy.
School enrollment coordination and IEP/504 support for youth with educational needs.
Credit recovery and GED preparation.
Parenting Support for Minor and NMD Parents
Parenting education for minor parents and NMD parents to foster healthy, effective parenting.
Parent-child activities and workshops to support attachment and parent-child bonding.
Permanency Planning and Family Support
Family reunification services and family finding for youth in care.
Parent training, visitation support, and sibling engagement through regular CFT meetings.
Assistance with child welfare case planning to ensure alignment with permanency goals.
Cultural Competency and LGBTQIA+ Support
Culturally relevant care, including support for LGBTQIA+ youth, SOGI (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity) affirmation, and culturally sensitive practices.
Community partnerships with LGBTQIA+ centers, CSEC (Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children) prevention organizations, and tribal councils.
Health and Wellness Services
Medical assessments and healthcare coordination with on-site nursing support.
Nutrition and wellness programs, including dietary accommodations and fitness activities.
Medication management and infection control services.
Youth and NMD Transition Services
Independent living planning for NMDs, including transition to adulthood programs, job skills development, and housing support.
Peer mentorship, education support, and self-advocacy training to help NMDs succeed beyond care.
Community Engagement and Outreach
Cultural events, community dinners, and social activities to encourage integration and support positive peer relationships.
Youth councils and family councils to ensure ongoing feedback and program improvements.
Emergency Placement Support
Crisis stabilization and emergency placement services for children in immediate need.
